Rising Art Florist was established with no more capital than the resources of three shareholders- an office and a car.

Unfortunately, due to internal chaos, the partnership withered. From its ashes rose a fresh produce entrepreneur- Benelux.

Benelux moved to the hub of Singapore's fresh produce distribution market- Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre.

Benelux ordered its first container of fruits, our first step towards globalisation. Soon enough, hundreds of containers began arriving at the shores of Singapore, all consigned to Benelux.

Benelux expanded into the Malaysian market and we were located at Tampoi to serve hypermarkets and wholesale markets.

Benelux relocated to Pandan Loop, where we occupy a 45,000 square feet of land which houses a double-storey office building, logistics facilities and cold-storage warehousing up to 7000 square feet.  

Benelux Malaysia relocated to a larger factory at Ulu Tiram to serve hypermarkets, wholesale markets, retail markets and franchise markets.Meanwhile, Benelux Singapore becomes a leading importer of fresh produce in Singapore.

Benelux achieved the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification in 2010 where our teams underwent training for specific hazards and preventive measures for their control.

Benelux was certified as conforming to ISO 22000:2005 for the scope of activities of warehouse storage, packaging and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Benelux was awarded with the BizSafe Level 3 certification by the Workplace Safety and Health Council.

The Benelux Singapore facility was expanded and a new building was opened. We developed cold storage and processing abilities and provide value-added services and to serve new consumer markets.

Benelux Singapore recently obtained the AVA license to process fresh fruit and vegetables. It will soon expand its range of products and provide cut fruits and cold-pressed juices to consumers.
